Beauty Salon Manager

Salary: £35,000 per year
Contract: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Permanent

Preston Beauty House Limited is a newly opened beauty salon in Preston, built on over 30 years of beauty expertise originating from Sabah, East Malaysia. Our roots go back to 1988, where traditional techniques, natural ingredients, and refined beauty practices were passed down through generations. We are proud to bring this heritage to the UK, combining authentic Malaysian beauty traditions with modern treatments and technology.

We are now looking for an experienced Beauty Salon Manager to take the lead in running our Preston salon and helping us establish a high-quality, professional, and welcoming environment for both clients and staff.

This is a hands-on management role and would suit someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day running of a salon while also having the ability to lead, train, and develop a team.

What the role involves
You will be responsible for the overall operation of the salon, ensuring services run smoothly and customers receive a consistently high standard of care. You will manage staff schedules, support and train team members, and maintain the quality and presentation that reflects our brand. The role also involves overseeing stock and suppliers, ensuring health and safety standards are met, and handling customer feedback in a professional manner.

As part of this role, you will help pass on traditional beauty techniques that are central to our salon’s identity, while also supporting the growth and long-term success of the business.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with solid experience managing a beauty salon, who is confident leading a team and maintaining high service standards. You should have strong organisational skills, a professional approach, and a genuine passion for the beauty industry. Experience training staff and maintaining operational standards is essential. Knowledge of traditional or heritage-based beauty practices would be an advantage.

Working hours

Full-time: 37.5 hours per week

Working days will be scheduled within:

Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm

Saturday: 9:00am – 2:00pm

Sundays: Closed
